My massage technique focuses on soothing both the mind and the muscles, promoting a deep sense of relaxation, whilst alleviating general muscular aches and pains. It uses a variety of massage movements & pressure with unscented oil.
If you are looking for a painful massage, then I am NOT the therapist for you! I do not hold any belief in the "No pain, no gain" theory. If you are feeling pain & discomfort, then there is tension in the body, so to create more is counter productive. We can achieve just as much, if not more, with a more gentle approach.

Aromatherapy is a very gentle massage, using specifically blended essential oils, tailored for you. This massage is all about the oils, - the hands merely assist the oils to work their magic. It is a very hypnotic process, leaving the client feeling deeply relaxed.
Essential oils have many properties that are beneficial to the body, in addition to smelling absolutely heavenly. They can help reduce anxiety and tension, ease symptoms of headaches & digestive discomfort & improve sleep patterns, amongst other things.
I can also make you a bespoke blend to take home, for an additional fee, and I sell my own brand of some of the most popular essential oils, which are of Therapeutic grade, meaning you can have a little time for you at home, post treatment.

Oncology massage is a gentle, relaxing therapy that allows the client to take some time away from their cancer treatment and diagnosis, and re-connect with themselves.
Using a Very light touch, with adapted positions to suit the client and their comfort, this massage is tailored to what YOU need.
Please do feel free to call me and discuss your treatment requirements prior to booking. It might be that you can tolerate a full hour, or it might be that 30 minutes is more than enough. What is important is that YOU get the most out of your massage.

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage eases tension in the Head, neck & Shoulders & promotes a deep level of relaxation - We all know the best part of going to the hairdressers is the massage during the hair wash!
It is the perfect treatment for those working at desks all day, or who tend to hunch when feeling stressed.
IHM is traditionally a dry, seated massage, with oils used in the hair, if desired. I have however, adapted my treatment, to give the massage in a prone position, as I think it provides a higher level of relaxation.

Quinn Neuropractic Technique (QNP)

The Quinn Neuropractic Technique is a very efficient, holistic approach to working with the body, to bring relief from pain and to help accelerate the body’s recovery from injury.
Working with the body's nervous system, we draw the brains attention to problem areas in the body, then provide a quick muscle release, to ease discomfort in the area. This then triggers the body into correcting itself, in turn, alleviating aches, pains & tension in the body.
This technique was designed by my friend & colleague, Brendan Quinn, and more information can be found on his website.

This treatment is performed over clothes, therefore please wear, loose, comfortable clothing such as sports wear & avoid wearing Jeans or heavy / bulky clothing.
